Dreams of the Dreamer

How easily our dreams can fade.

Like towers of spiderwebbing and string,

They’re blown away by the Herculean strength of doubt and despair.

How quickly can a dream turn,

A Nightmare unleashed upon the helpless.

We are cast as die into the unknown circumstance of an unforgiving chance.

How surely can a dream breed hope,

When Fate is kind.

When Men give aid.

When God is on our side.

When we are on God’s side.
